Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 June 2026
These terms govern your use of School Interactions (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What the Service does
The Service aggregates communications from your school's feeds, summarises them, and creates and updates events in a dedicated Google Calendar, with summaries and an assistant you can query delivered over WhatsApp.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be a parent or guardian aged 18 or over with the right to access the relevant school portal account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account secure.
3. Your responsibilities
- Only connect school portal accounts and Google accounts that you are authorised to use.
- Use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial family use.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the Service.
4. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties including Google (Calendar), WhatsApp and your school's systems or feed provider. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.
5. Accuracy and reliance
We work hard to extract events, dates and actions correctly, but automated summarisation can make mistakes or miss things. The Service is provided as a helpful assistant, not as the authoritative source. Always check important dates, payments and deadlines against your school's official communications. You remain responsible for meeting your school's requirements.
6. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
7. Cancellation
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time, including by disconnecting your Google account and school portal. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data on deletion.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for missed school deadlines, payments or events. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
